We're a British very small press, so the uncertainty around Brexit (will we or won't we?) has shoppers a bit wary. Dr Alex Wylie's critical monograph, Geoffrey Hill's Later Work: Radiance of Apprehension was published by Manchester University Press on September 12th 2019. The work of Geoffrey Hill (1932-2016) often provokes bemusement or even hostility; however, he was often referred to as 'the greatest living poet' and variants thereof, when alive.
